LACUNA COIL's ANDREA FERRO Interviewed On 'The House Of Zazz' (Audio)

April 16, 2013

On April 14, Sam Hatch of WWUH Radio's metal show "The House Of Zazz" spoke with LACUNA COIL vocalist Andrea Ferro at the Hartford, Connecticut stop of the Italian band's current tour with SEVENDUST and COAL CHAMBER. Andrea discussed the status of the two members missing from the trek and how Marco Coti Zelati's stage absence has allowed the LACUNA COIL bassist to begin crafting the follow-up to the band's 2012 album, "Dark Adrenaline". Other topics include the influence of cinema on LACUNA COIL's music, methods of staying sane on the road, why keeping in contact with fans is so important and how to discover new music while being a full-time touring musician.

On a more somber note, Andrea also discussed the passing of founding LACUNA COIL guitarist Claudio Leo, and recommended the newly released CD from Leo's band CAYNE. And on the third anniversary of Peter Steele's death, Ferro reminisces about meeting the imposing TYPE O NEGATIVE frontman for the first time during a MOONSPELL concert at Brooklyn's L'Amour venue.

"The House Of Zazz"'s interview with Andrea Ferro can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

You can listen to "The House Of Zazz" Tuesday nights/Wednesday mornings from midnight until 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time on 91.3 FM WWUH (in Connecticut) and streaming live via the Internet at www.wwuh.org.

"Dark Adrenaline", sold around 20,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 15 on The Billboard 200 chart.
